FLEX TELLER
Secure and safe access to your accounts is available 24x7 through Flex Teller, the credit union’s online home banking.
GOOD NEWS! - We are pleased to announce the release of important new security features for Flex Teller. These changes are part of an ongoing effort by us to ensure compliance with federal regulation and to provide the highest level of protection to your against identity theft and fraud.
Specifically, these new controls are designed to help you recognize when you are communicating with the valid Internet banking system and to help that system ensure that it is communicating with you.
Instructions for signing onto your home banking account using Mutual Authentication and Image Enrollment: · Please select one of the following images. This image will be presented to you as additional confirmation that you are communicating with our trusted site. You will choose one of the following images: o Binoculars o Ship o Book o Shoe o Butterfly o Calculator o Camera o Old Car o Alarm clock o Computer o Couch o Dog o Guitar o Pot o Skier o Tank
Once you have chosen an image, you will be asked to confirm your choice.
· Next – you will take the next step toward your Authentication Strategy: We will present a challenge question to further confirm you identity. This question will be randomly selected from your responses to the right. You can make up your own question and answer or choose from the following: o In what city were you born? o What is the name of your pet? o What is your favorite drink? o What was the same of your elementary school? o What is your favorite movie? o What is your favorite sports team? o What was your high school mascot? o What is your favorite restaurant? o Who is your favorite actor/actress? o What is your alternate password?
Once you have completed the process, the new security features are now in place to protect your account information. When signing on in the future, you will need to identify yourself with answers to the additional questions, along with your account number and password.
An additional security feature would be to “register” your home computer to be linked with your account information, so that only your home computer will have access to your account information.
