WHAT IS A CREDIT UNION?
A credit union is a financial cooperative organization of individuals with a common affiliation (such as employment, labor union membership, or place of residence, place of worship or education). Credit unions accept deposits of members, pay interest (dividends) on them out of earnings and primarily provide consumer installment credit to members.
Brewer Federal Credit Union has over 8,200 members.
There are over 600,000 credit union members in the State of Maine, all served by a volunteer Board of Directors.
We at Brewer Federal Credit Union thank you for your membership. We are constantly striving to make your credit union work harder for you!
