Brewer FCU Supports Local Food Pantries

Brewer – As part of the Maine Credit Union Campaign for Ending Hunger, Brewer Federal Credit Union donated a total of $8,976.73 to two area food pantries this week.

Throughout the past year, Brewer Federal Credit Union employees and members have donated to the Ending Hunger Campaign through multiple events such as the annual disc golf tournament and membership appreciation days.

On July 12, 2018, Brewer Federal Credit Union President and CEO, Dave DeFroscia, presented a check to both the Brewer Food Pantry/OHI-Maine and C.H.E.F.S. food pantry. “We are fortunate to have amazing members who are generous in their support of the Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger. Overall, the Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger has had a substantial impact in Maine,” says DeFroscia.
